Huge Congratulations to Martin Hand of Eden Golf Club who has been called up to represent England in the European Senior Team Championship and the Senior Home Internationals

Martins selection for the national side is greatly deserved and is testament to the hard work he has been putting in to his game in recent times having been focused on catching the eye of the England Selectors as he approached the eligibility age of 55.

He has returned to the Cumbria Men's team where he has not only performed superbly, he has been a great influence on the younger members of the squad who now have an international team mate to look up to.

The European Senior Team Championship is being held at Cabot Bordeaux in France from 1st-5th September and the Home Internationals are taking place at Royal St David's Golf Club in Wales between 15th-17th September and we know Martin will smash it!
